This release brings together some of the most accomplished swing stylists in London. This album defines 1940s jazz in all its breadth and depth with original tunes in the style of Basie, Bird, Dizzy and much more. The small band tracks feature stunning playing from Alex Garnett, Tom Farmer, Josh Morrison, William Rixon and Leon Greening. For the big band moments, we hear from Richard Shepherd, Tom Stone, Tom Walsh, Tom White. A great vocal performance from James Junior completes the album on "For a Good Catch (you got to fish all day)".
